Choices, Part Four

I remain open and allow my thoughts and emotions to be as they are, noticing which ones speak the loudest and those that speak in a whisper. They tell me what I need, what calls me, what I am afraid of, and what I am seeking.

Today I am filled with day dream. I feel a creative pull, soothing and sweet, and I wish to remain in it. The clock tells a different story. It says that I am running late and that my responsibilities call me elsewhere. I feel a rise of resistance that risks turning into resentment, frenzy, or frustration. I have choices and I breathe into them.

I ground, rooting myself. I branch outward, breathing light through my body and expand consciously outward into the cosmos. In this space I reflect and observe, listening to the thoughts and emotions that move

within me. As an observer I refrain from placing labels of right and wrong, good or bad. Instead I remain open and allow my thoughts and emotions to be as they are, noticing which ones speak the loudest and those that speak in a whisper. They tell me what I need, what calls me, what I am afraid of, and what I am seeking. I am able to explore and ask myself questions and, in this manner, without judgment or resistance, I decide the direction that I will proceed in.

Reflection completed, understanding harnessed, I return my awareness to breathing in life force, to my body grounded and my awareness Divinely connected. And when I am ready, I move forward as loving acceptance in the direction that I have chosen.
